Artist Profile

Yuki and Cuties
Yuki and Cuties was formed in NY back in 2009 by Yuki Ishiwata, the singer songwriter for this project. Yuki's gift for words can be heard in all of her songs, whether it is written in English or Japanese. Her songs are catchy, jazzy and pop. Yet, she succeeds to quietly maintain the subtlety of Japanese folk tunes underneath her modern composition. In NY, she appeared major festivals such as Sakura Matsuri at Brooklyn Botanic Garden as well as the local clubs like The Living Room to name a few. After the 2011 quake, Yuki has relocated back to Tokyo and continued to present her music in her mother country. Her latest EP "The Book of Yuki and the Cuties" was released in the stores nationwide in July 2016.
