Light And Darkness

The album "Meian" was released on May 29th (Wednesday), approximately four years after the album "GUNJO," which garnered high acclaim for its overwhelming skill and lyricism.
ACE COOL, who has been demonstrating a strong presence in the scene through participation in video contents such as "Red Bull 64 Bars" and "03- Performance," guest appearances, performances at various festivals, and the successful solo live performance "Gunjo no Ato" held at Shibuya WWW on March 7th this year.
Amidst heightened anticipation from fans, this release has been eagerly awaited. ACE COOL describes it as an extremely personal work that continues to answer the universal question of "What is happiness?" without compromise.
JJJ, Miru Shinoda, BFN TOKYOTRILL, Atsu Otaki, and Yuke Myras contribute to the production, while the piano arrangements throughout the album feature the participation of Moto Shirase and Kento Yamada of yahyel on guitar, resulting in experimental richness both in theme and musicality.
Mixing for 11 tracks was handled by Atsu Otaki, with only "Affection" mixed by JJJ, and mastering was done by Mike Bozzi. The artwork was created by Atsushi Yamanaka.
The CD booklet for "Meian" is scheduled for release around summer this year.
