Fukuoka's MC "FREEZ", who has been an overwhelming presence in legendary groups such as RAMB CAMP, El-NINO, and ILL SLANG BLOW'KWER, has completed a 22-track NEW ALBUM "MAYBE HAPPY" after 1 year and 9 months since his last album "NO FAMOUS"! The release of the 22-track NEW ALBUM "MAYBE HAPPY" is the first release in a year and nine months since his last album "NO FAMOUS"!

For the past 1 year and 9 months, FREEZ's activities could never be called smooth.

In March 2022, they released the album "NO FAMOUS" with 16 songs, and just as they were about to expand their activities, they fell ill and were hospitalized, leading to a temporary suspension of their activities.

Freez himself explains how he came to make the album after his hospitalization.

I started working on this album in November 2022.
I made the music video for "Hana to Kin" by myself and started to distribute the single before I started to plan the whole album.
The first half of the album is REAL SHIT so that you can understand my current story. 9 track "Nightlife" is followed by PARTY TUNE and HARDCORE SHIT.
Feat.MC,Deejay is also a local face with tight relationship. The song "Oyafuko Dori", which is a dream collaboration with SHITAKILI NINE D.C. that everyone in the area knows because it is played in clubs, etc., has also been re-mastered and included for the purpose of spreading it throughout the country.
BIG FACE is also on the album, which means that the song is from RAMB CAMP x PRIDE MONSTER FAMILIA.
In order to establish the SOUTHSIDE SOUND, many tracks were made under the name of B AS FREEZ, and were mainly commissioned from LOCAL track makers.
Participating artists from outside the prefecture are Silent Killer Joint, Shigechiyo, and DJ Motora, who are also my men.
During his hospitalization, he read Eikichi Yazawa's book "Are You Happy?" I read it while I was in the hospital. The book was completely different from his early book "Rise and Fall." Eikichi's smile of being happy in the end even after being beaten to a pulp in life gave me courage, and I decided to title the album "MAYBE HAPPY" from the beginning and started to work on it.
The album is 22 songs long, but the songs are arranged so that you can listen to it over and over again. If you are interested in Fukuoka music after listening to this album, please delve into each artist. After all, good music can only be found by digging for yourself, just like digging for a record. (FREEZ)

An album that is poised to spark a new SOUTHSIDE MOVEMENT.
