Kaoru Miyazaki is releasing her new EP "Beautiful" on December 6th after a four-year gap following "The Light." This period coincided with the upheaval brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, affecting people worldwide, regardless of their background.

The songs in this EP reflect the chaos, vague anxieties, sadness, and frustration of those times, as well as a strong sense of determination and hope. The track "Karma" released last year delves into the violence masked as justice prevalent in media and resonates with our challenging emotions.

Additionally, "Kimi to Sora 2022 Ver." is a self-cover of her debut song, while "Bunbun Shinai de," a collaboration with her friend Kwiae, adds humor and a relaxed atmosphere not seen in her previous work. The EP showcases a grandiose world and a live feel with a UK sound, something uniquely crafted for the current moment.

Her journey, including a three-year hiatus, was filled with challenges, but the honest and heartfelt music she created defines her current position. "Beautiful" expresses gratitude and resilience, reminding us that, despite life's changes, Kaoru Miyazaki continues her unchanging musical path, leading to new horizons.

    1989年生まれ。東京都出身。幼少期をロンドンで過ごし、音楽に囲まれた環境で育ったことで自然とシンガーへ の道に進む。大学時代からピアノとギターで作曲を始め、卒業とともに音楽活動を本格化。 地道に送り続けたデモ テープが業界関係者の耳に留まりメジャーデビューを果たす。キャッチーなメロディーにのる日本語と英語の歌 詞。グローバルポップなサウンドがJpopの新境地を切り開く。 2012年 6月「Graduation From Me」でインディーズデビュー。 2012年 10月「9STORIES」でメジャーデビュー。マツダデミオのCM曲に「君と空」が起用される。
2016年 約3年の活動休止期間を経て活動再開。 2017年 10月〜2021年10月 RKBラジオ「宮﨑薫 From Here」のパーソナリティ番組スタート。 2019年「宮﨑薫30祭」代官山LOOPで開催されたワンマンライブは会場の記録的な来場者数となった。 2019年 12月 LAで制作したEP「The Light」を発売。Billboard cafeで開催のリリースイベントは完売。 2020年 クリス・ハートのバックコーラスに起用され全国ホールツアーに参加。 2022年 2月〜 DateFM仙台。毎週金曜19:30〜「宮崎薫のEdge Bridge」番組スタート。
 2022年 2月 Netflix「love is blind JAPAN」出演。番組内では女性メンバーの前で弾き語りを披露している。 2022年 3月「Karma」をリリース。MVはクラウドファンディングにより制作された。クラウドファンディング はわずか40分で100%を達成し、最終365%まで到達。
 2022年 6月 MIYAVIのバックコーラスに参加。
 2022年 10月 南カリフォルニアで開催された「OC JAPAN FAIR」に出演。 TorranceのVIEW MUSIC BARで行 われたソロコンサートも多くのファンが来場した。
 2023年 1月東日本大震災支援チャリティー「RENAISSANCE CLASSICS LIGHT HOUSE TO THE FUTURE 2023」に出演。 2023年 3月『ASKA&DAVID FOSTER PREMIUM CONCERT 2023』にゲストボーカルで出演。
 2023年 4月〜8月『ASKA Concert Tour -Wonderful World- 2023』5会場6公演にゲストボーカルで出演。 2023年 10月〜 TOKYO FM 毎週水曜21:30〜「宮﨑薫のHump Night With Me」番組スタート。 国内外の活動のみならず、楽曲提供・アニメーションの吹替歌唱やMCなど、幅広い分野で活動中。
