Gentleness, carried on 4,536 leaves of sound. "Piano Ten Thousand Leaves" began with a single wish: to deliver gentleness to people all over the world. In February 2014, Japanese Piano Bard, chair house (Hitoshi Yasui) embarked on a quiet journey: to compose and share one gentle piano piece every morning, and release it online for the world to hear. The goal was 4,536 pieces, the same number of poems as in Japan's oldest anthology, "Ten Thousand Leaves (Manyoushu) ". Like short poems, each composition is brief, yet filled with calmness and tender beauty a collection of "leaves of sound" that soothe the heart. On May 16, 2026, we were fortunate enough to release our target number of 4,536 songs. We are grateful to everyone who supported us. 4,536 pieces have already been released, listened to more than ten million times around the world.
