  An acoustic guitar duo that plays a key role in the music production business of Fundamental Co.,Ltd. The duo was formed around April 2014. The two guitarists, each with distinct styles and usually active in separate bands, met through mutual musician friends and shared live performances. Their mutual chemistry led them to form a new unit, aiming to create music that truly emphasizes the sounds they craft. They chose the acoustic guitar a return to their roots as the foundation of their duo style. Since then, they have been building their unique "Nicogi" sound through continuous songwriting, arranging, and rehearsals. Their performances and compositions captivate audiences (listeners) with a signature style that highlights the power, delicacy, and richly nuanced overtones unique to acoustic guitar. Rather than focusing on technical prowess, they aim to move the listener through the quality of their compositions, emotional lyricism, and spiritual depth. With acclaimed recording engineer Tatsuya Nakamura onboard as producer and engineer, and co-producer/manager Yuko Sone as part of the team, Team Nicogi works together seamlessly. They actively engage in a wide range of endeavors, from intimate live performances to producing high-quality recordings, all with a flexible and proactive approach.
