  • Takashi Yoshimura

A singer-songwriter born in Miyagi, raised in Iwate, and grown up in Okinawa, now based in Fukuoka. He pours his heart into singing lyrics in Japanese. Around 2012, he began performing under the name "Yoshimura Takashi," engaging in solo acoustic sets and band activities. He was active in organizing events such as Tomokawa Kazuki LIVE IN OKINAWA, supporting touring musicians, and releasing CDs. However, after a live performance in December 2017, he suddenly disappeared from the scene. Following a mysterious hiatus of about four and a half years, he abruptly resumed his musical activities in April 2022. In 2023, he released the album "Hajimari no Melody" (The Melody of Beginning), followed by "YOSHIMURA TAKASHI BAND" in 2024. Based in Fukuoka and Okinawa, he performs across Japan in various formats-solo, band, and more. His favorite musicians include Tomokawa Kazuki, Janis Joplin, Jonathan Richman, Daniel Johnston, Tatsuro Mukai, and Doburock. He drinks a lot-and gets drunk a lot. He's not quitting anymore. He won't disappear again.
