Q.A.S.B now releases its brand new covering the tunes of Pizzicato Five, a legendary Japanese Shibuya-kei pop band. "Thank You", a track from "This Year's Girl" (1991), the first album after the 3rd vocalist Maki Nomiya had joined the band, and "Week-End" from one of the band's latest works "Playboy & Playgirl" (1998), are now recorded in a Q.A.S.B. sound, with a power push by Yasuharu Konishi, the founding member of Pizzicato Five.

    2005年東京にて結成された現行のRare Grooveバンド。RYUHEI THE MAN氏プロデュースの "The Mexican Part 1&2" (2012) 、"Never Did I Stop Loving You”(2014) を含めて、10枚の7インチシングル、3枚のアルバムをリリース後、バンド結成11年目となる2016年、Amy Aに代わるシンガーa.yu.mi.をメンバーに加え、2017年に ”Thinking Of You”、“Get Down”、“Hold Me”の7インチシングル3タイトルを、2018年には”You're My Star”7インチシングル、そして満を持して10曲からなるアルバム"Thinking Of You"をリリース(2019年にLP化)。小西康陽、沖野修也(KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE / KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET)、尾川雄介(universounds) 等から高い評価を得る。また、同アルバムから DJ KAWASAKI によりRE-EDITされた"Get Down"、SHO DA SCOTTIEによりREMIX された "Double Decker"をカップリングした7インチが HMV record shop 渋谷5周年を記念して発売され話題となる。さらにピチカート・ファイヴ、ロイ・エアーズ、ナンシー・ウィルソンなどの名曲をカヴァーした7インチやオーサカ=モノレール中田亮氏を迎えての7インチなど、精力的ににアナログをリリース。５枚目のアルバムを経て、現在通算６枚目のアルバムに向けて楽曲を制作中。
