Lyric

October thirty-first

The city comes alive

Everybody's wearing masks

Underneath the neon lights

There's a vampire at the bar

And a ghost across the street

Someone dressed up like a devil

Is dancing next to me

I put on my favorite jacket

And a smile that isn't mine

Tonight I'll be somebody else

Just for a little while

Turn the music up

Let the whole world spin

Nobody needs to know

What I'm hiding underneath

Halloween party!

Dance until the morning comes

Halloween party!

Everybody's having fun

Put your hands up in the air

Leave your worries at the door

We can be somebody else

Till we can't dance anymore

Halloween party!

Turn it up tonight!

There's a witch beside the window

With a drink inside her hand

Someone's singing out of tune

With a stupid little band

The pumpkins on the sidewalk

Are smiling at the moon

And everybody's laughing

Like the night will never end

I see your favorite costume

In the middle of the crowd

For a second I forget

That you're not around

Turn the music up

Let the whole world spin

Maybe if I dance enough

I won't think of you again

Halloween party!

Dance until the morning comes

Halloween party!

Everybody's having fun

Put your hands up in the air

Leave your worries at the door

We can be somebody else

Till we can't dance anymore

Halloween party!

Turn it up tonight!

Everybody's wearing something

Everybody's hiding things

Some are dressed like monsters

Some are dressed like kings

I'm just wearing a smile

That I borrowed for tonight

And maybe that's alright

Yeah, maybe that's alright

One, two, three, four!

Dance! Dance!

All night long!

Sing! Sing!

Another song!

Laugh! Laugh!

One more time!

Everything is fine!

Everything is fine

Halloween party!

Dance until the morning comes

Halloween party!

Everybody's having fun

Even if tomorrow hurts

Even if the lights go down

Tonight we're still together

In this crazy little town

Halloween party!

One more song tonight!

Halloween party!

Everything's alright!

The music stops

The lights go out

The streets are empty now

I take my mask off

And walk back home

With your memory

And my own face
