    名古屋“052”を拠点とするヒップホップユニット、M.O.S.A.D.(モサド)は、TOKONA-X(2004年に急逝)、"E"qual、AKIRAの３MCで結成したMASTERS OF SKILLZがその原型。1999年に、MASTERS OF SKILLZ名義で12インチシングル「M.O.S. / E.A.T.」をリリース。別名義(TOKONA-X feat. EQUAL, AKIRA)で参加したコンピレーションアルバム収録曲「FABULOUS」などを経て、2000年にグループ名をM.O.S.A.D.に改名。同時にDJ FIXERをメンバーに加えて4人体制となった。2002年には、日本のヒップホップシーンに大きな衝撃を与えた1stフルアルバム「THE GREAT SENSATION」を発表。DJ RYOWらも所属するヒップホップクルー・BALLERSを率いながら、名古屋のヒップホップを全国に知らしめた。その後も、M.O.S.A.D.として数多くの客演をこなすなど精力的に活動。各々の個性がしっかりと確立されたグループである彼らは、その象徴として、のちにラッパー全員がソロデビューも果たしている。
