[Drummer] As a member of the band POMERANIANS, Isamu Ito made his major debut in 2005 from Victor Entertainment. Since the band's musical style was somewhere between reggae and pops, he played with various artists from core reggae bands to pops bands that everyone knows. While gaining many musical experiences and seeing and hearing a lot of music, he stumbled upon African music called Afrobeat and could not control his impulses. In 2008, after leaving the band, he formed "Hype sessions," an all-Japanese Afrobeat leader band. The band performed in a theatrical commercial tie-in for the 2011 FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP JAPAN, as well as with the band Staff Benda Bilili (Congo) during their first visit to Japan. The band went on hiatus in 2015, but released an unreleased soundtrack in 2020.
