Wakayama-born rapper TOFU will release a two-track single, "HARD WORKER / MAKURI (Yarimakuri)", on April 22.

This year, TOFU is tougher than ever.

The single consists of two trap-based tracks. "HARD WORKER" is produced by rxl and ace4our, while "MAKURI (Yarimakuri)" is produced by VetteBoy.

"HARD WORKER" vividly captures the lifestyle of a rapper-moving nonstop from morning till night, spitting in the studio, and traveling across different cities for live performances-along with the environment surrounding him.     TOFU is a rapper and artist from Wakayama City, Japan. He first gained national attention through the ABEMA audition show RAPSTAR Birth. In 2020, he released his debut album The Legend of the TOFU, featuring the track "SAKURA," whose music video reached No.1 on the UK iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart. In 2024, he teamed up with hometown collaborator MIKADO for the joint album New Vintage, introducing a bold new sound that resonated with a wide audience. Known for designing his own album covers and apparel, TOFU continues to push boundaries with a distinct artistic vision that sets him apart in Japan's hip-hop scene.
