KIMIKA's first release of 2026, "Not for you," is a track created around the concept of "a love letter to the haters."

Written by KIMIKA herself, the song transforms the words, criticism, and judgment she has faced throughout her career into the dynamics of a complicated love story.

Rather than chasing status, fame, or superficial validation, the track reflects KIMIKA's personal belief in seeking only what is genuine and real.

For the production, arrangers Goro Nakano and Satoru Nakagaki joined the project in a co-writing and co-arrangement setup, resulting in a sophisticated black music-influenced sound that strongly represents KIMIKA's artistic identity.

The song was also selected as a June 2026 "BUZZ CLIPS" pick on Buzz Rhythm 02, further highlighting the growing attention surrounding the release.
