This is my first mini album since joining the Kyoto-based label
groovement Kyoto.
Blending my own interpretation of Japanese elements, I built a sound that highlights the texture, rhyme schemes, and resonance of the Japanese language.

As the title suggests, the theme is contrast.
Across six distinct tracks, the album moves from uplifting energy to sadness, and into a sense of release and chill.

It also reflects the emotional ups and downs I experienced during a stagnant period in my life-like a rollercoaster, constantly shifting in every direction.

During difficult times, music was always there for me-neither affirming nor denying, just existing by my side.
That experience shaped my genre-free style and led me to embrace the idea of expressing exactly what I feel.

The scars, trauma, and sense of emptiness within me may never fully disappear, but through music, I've learned to simply observe and live with them.

If this project reaches anyone going through similar struggles, and makes them feel something, I'd be truly glad.

Free in every direction, beyond genres-
This is simply about playing with sound!
