Incorporating flute tones, sampler-based recordings, and environmental sounds captured from outside, the record balances lo-fi textures with catchy pop sensibilities.
Built on Western-inspired production, it pairs Japanese lyrics shaped into smooth, memorable phrases with a soft, gently girlish vocal tone.
Affirming feelings of melancholy and vulnerability, the songs frame everyday life in a nostalgic, cinematic light like scenes from a film.
