"There's a great SHOP in our town."
Japanese indie rock band Someday's Gone, based in Utsunomiya, Japan, releases their new single "EZ DO MARKET," inspired by a shop run by a close friend.
As we travel to different cities to play shows, we've always wanted to carry the culture born in our hometown of Utsunomiya - and the things we truly care about - a little farther into the world.
"EZ DO MARKET" is a pop song about dancing through the headwind and continuing to move forward from wherever you are.
"Hey girl, won't let you down.
Hey boy, won't let you down."
Keep moving forward from where you are.
Keep loving the town where you grew up.
And take the things that matter with you to the next city.
From one shop called EZ DO MARKET, to our hometown of Utsunomiya.
And from there, to a city we have yet to know.
"From the city we love to the cities you love."
This is a love song for the town we call home.
And a song about carrying the culture born there a little farther into the world.
Someday'sGone is an indie rock band from Utsunomiya, Japan. Blending the raw spirit of 90s alternative rock with uplifting indie dance energy, the band has been actively touring across Japan while staying rooted in their hometown. Born from the local scene around venues like HEAVEN'S ROCK VJ-2 and HELLO DOLLY, Someday'sGone continues to bring their music from city to city. Their songs capture the cinematic beauty of ordinary nights - moments with friends, lights in the city, and the feeling that even a small life can look like a movie scene. From the city we love to the cities you love.
