Simultaneous Release of Music and Visual Works: What Do the 'Three' Powerful Personalities in the Notable Japanese Improvisational Band in Germany Represent?
/////////////////////////

After the release of their previous work "Gabori," Novatron, a Berlin-based duo of Japanese artists, gained attention from listeners worldwide, with features on platforms like NTS (UK) and WFMU (US), as well as being selected as the Weekly Album on "avant music news," a site dedicated to experimental music. Now, they are set to release their new work titled "Their Eyes."

In this project, original members drummer Itta Nakamura (formerly of the cabs/plenty) and guitarist Tatsumi Ryusui are joined by guest artist Aisuke Kondo, another Japanese artist active in Berlin. Alongside the release of the music, a visual work will also be unveiled. The mastering was handled by Lawrence English, head of the Australian experimental music label "Room40," who continues to work with the band. The result is a remarkable piece that blends experimental approaches, which have become synonymous with Novatron, with more universal methods.

This encounter of three unique talents in Berlin, a city where artists from diverse backgrounds intersect, has culminated in a powerful work that intensely reflects the principles and beliefs they have developed through their lives in a foreign land.
