A queen who lives bravely and splendidly in a kimono She is deeply proud of her two roots. In its roots in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, there is a group called the Sapeur. They express their opposition to violence through their clothing and advocate a belief in peace. In Japan, another of its roots, a woman with a strong heart is called a Yamato Nadeshiko. I created the EP with the meaning of facing life's difficulties gracefully and without using ni**a, f**k, or D**k, and definitely grasping the light.The artwork was photographed by Bancha, a photographer who specializes in film cameras.

Ayaka Brandy
Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, her father's country. Due to the civil war, she moved to Japan when she was two months old. What is Yamato Nadeshiko as a [Japanese black person]? She has explored the meaning of femininity and has expressed her roots and spiritual world as a painter. In November 2024, she officially debuted as a rapper with her 1st EP - Sapeuse -.
