A Wonderful Christmas

This song is one I wrote when I was in high school -
a piece that feels like the very origin of who I am.

My sensitivity back then was different from now,
but I believe it's a feeling everyone carries somewhere in their heart:
the desire to create something by hand
and give it to someone you truly care about.

I wanted to turn my feelings into something real
before Christmas arrived.
I believed only in love, and nothing more.

Looking back, it may seem a little clumsy,
and perhaps even heavy.
But because it was so simple,
it was also a time when happiness felt pure and true.

On that special day called Christmas,
I wished with all my heart
that everyone could be happy.
That wish is what led my high school self to write this song.
