Secret Sanctuary

That morning was calm, as though a storm had just passed.
Mist hung over the mountains, and the voices of birds echoed through the air, as if they were guiding us somewhere beyond.

The sea stretched out clear and endlessly blue, while the rain soaked into our bodies, cleansing us like a ritual of purification.
As the rain washed over us, we found ourselves drawing closer to a sanctuary we had yet to see.

Eventually, the rain faded, and light began to break through the clouds.
The voices of birds crossing the sea. A distant call from a ship.
Far away, the sound of a train quietly passed through the landscape.
Those sounds traveled across the sea, echoing toward the distant islands.
