sasalasa (sasakure.UK × lasah) 1st album "LINNE"
Like a fable, like science fiction, like a myth. A tale of "the end" and life.
Frequently collaborating in each other's albums and works, music composer sasakure.UK and vocalist, lyricist lasah have launched their new project, "sasalasa". Their first album "LINNE", based on the theme of reincarnation, is a piece that weaves a new story for sasalasa.
In addition to their 1st digital single "nevermore", the album includes "LIN NE KRO NE" from the music game "WACCA", and a new remix of their first collaboration song "to Asteroid B-612".
The album artwork is by Temmie, well-known for the game "UNDERTALE".
[sasakure.UK] After releasing original instrumental music on the internet through his own website, sasakure.UK was inspired by VOCALOID and took on the challenge of writing lyrics. His songs attracted attention once they were uploaded to video-sharing sites due to their high quality. Like a fable that has been handed down through the ages, his lyrics have a rich message woven into the story. His sound is pop yet deep and warm, composed with precise and advanced techniques, establishing a unique musicality. [lasah] Born in Kobe, Japan, lasah spent her childhood and adolescence in the bayside area of California, influenced by foreign literature and Japanese literature, games, anime, and manga that her grandfather sent to her from Japan. lasah became interested in expressing herself through singing during catholic school, as the hymns that she learned at mass are still in the basis of her music. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Keio University and attended the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Law and Politics. lasah has been working mainly on self-produced works, focusing on "making audible" literary works such as foreign SF literature, modern Japanese literature, and Osamu Tezuka's works. She has co-worked with artists such as sasakure.UK, i am robot and proud, The Album Leaf and Yasunori Mitsuda.

She became well-known with the song "NILGIRI" in which she was credited for the vocals. In 2013, lasah released her first science-fiction novel based concept album "INNOCENCE". Following this highly rated self-produced, she released her second concept album "I LOVE YOU," which made audible the many shapes of love that Japanese modern literature portrayed. She is also vigorously working with other artists as guest vocals and lyricists.
