Neiro

"Neiro" begins with a melody hummed without thinking and grows into an anthem celebrating life in sound and color.

We can't stay as carefree as we were as children, but each of us lives in a color all our own. The monochrome of a day when nothing goes right, the blue of a rainy afternoon, the orange of a promise made at sunset, the soft pink of the day you fell in love: every one of them becomes part of who you are.

The title is the Japanese word for "tone" or "timbre," written with the characters for "sound" and "color." A sound rings out and, in time, becomes a color. The song carries a wish to take in the good and the bad alike and turn them into a resonance that is yours alone.

It paints a dream at the end of a rainbow after the rain, gives thanks for every meeting and parting, and closes with a sing-along where all voices join as one. Each day you live adds another shade to who you are. A song for when you want today to be a little more vivid.
