Reggae pants is a Japanese band that originated in Shibata city, Niigata prf. It consists of not only western rock instruments (guitar, bass, drums),but also traditional Japanese musical instrument; shamisen. They are free from any patterns, while rooted in rock, pop, jazz, minyo(traditional Japanese music).


In 2014, Mita-chang(drums) and cosK(guitar) saw Kazu's first appearance on stage, suggested to make shamisen-guitar-percussion band. They started recording of first work "Gunjo-bakko" in 2015, subsequently added Mikity as bassist. Second work "Shinmichi-monogatari" was recorded in 2016.
