Until your light shone in my heart, where I had only been searching for a "replacement."
This work is presented by the music project "Four Littletales." It is the story of a single "encounter" and the "unconditional love" that blossomed from it.
There was a time when I couldn't open my heart to new beginnings, still chasing the lingering shadow of that dear child who departed to the sky and now waits beyond the Rainbow Bridge. There were days when I suffered by overlapping their image onto my new kitten, blaming myself and keeping my heart closed. Yet, she gazed at me with honest eyes and kept calling out to me with her clumsy, soulful "Ma--!!", all while showing me her "Whisker Bloom" smile, where her whiskers fan out beautifully whenever she is petted.
The time we spent facing each other with all our hearts, cherishing every moment, and building our days together. These precious years have eventually transformed you from "someone's replacement" into a one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable treasure.
Set against a light acoustic guitar rhythm, this song sings of memories found after moving past regret and conflict, of warm snuggles and the earnest wish to be together again tomorrow.
To all who know the pain of loss, and to all who wish to hold their loved ones tight, may this song be a gentle magic that stays by your side.
"Four Littletales" is a gentle music project inspired by the unbreakable bond of 4 cats. Directed by a storyteller and writer, Goma, the project transforms the quiet whispers of daily life into warm, nostalgic melodies. Launched with the concept of an endless story performed by 4 lives: a long-shared "Melody," a "Tone" supporting the story from the rainbow's base, and 2 "New Breaths" who carry the tale forward. An endless "small story" woven by 4 lives. Even if apart, music that gently lights the heart is born when 4 bonds (Littletales) overlap. A gentle story, found everywhere yet nowhere, for you and your precious ones.
