Set against a melodic guitar-pop sound, the song portrays love, hatred, and despair intertwined-a desperate desire to be saved, yet an inability to accept salvation. "I want to see you" and "I want to kill you" collide, revealing the twisted emotions that lie beneath.
Like waiting for a spider's thread beneath a dark autumn sky, all that remains is the longing for a single thread of salvation.
