Lucid And The Flowers
Lucid And The Flowers (LATF)は、東京を拠点に活動する、4人編成のロックバンド。2014年末からの長い活動休止期間を経て2019年秋にメンバーチェンジを行い、バンド編成となって再始動した。サウンドは近年のUKシーン(イーストロンドンの新興音楽など)に見られるローファイ・ジャズ・シューゲイズの要素を併せ持つ、ミドルテンポのノワールなインディーロックで、スモーキーでニヒルな英語詞ボーカルがロマンティックな世界観を歌い上げる。全身オールブラックのモードなビジュアルと、ダークでシリアスなサウンドがコアな音楽リスナーの心を射止め、アンダーグラウンドシーンで注目されている。これまでに自主製作でシングル4枚リリースし、ファッションブランドのショーへの楽曲提供や、釜山映画祭にノミネートされた中村拓朗監督の映画「西北西」や園田新監督の短編映画「DISTANCE」「消せない記憶」の音楽を務めた。過去にはThe Horrors(ザ・ホラーズ)らとも親交が深いUKのバンドUlterior(アルテリア)の来日公演をサポートするなど、海外アーティストとの共演も多い。
