NOMAD POP、新体制初となるポップ&ビターなシングル『あべこべかたこと』をリリース。Gt.和田燎卒業後初となるリリースは、すれ違いや愛憎入り混じる情念を軽快なサウンドで綴った一曲。メンバーのルーツを意識したアレンジ、ボーカルRECのディレクションにかねてから親交のあるNolzyを迎えるなど原点回帰の色合いが強い一曲となっている。前回のアルバムリリース以降、The Biscatsや新浜レオンのライブサポート、前橋ウィッチーズや笠原弘子への楽曲提供などを経た個々の深化にも注目したい。

Artist Profile

NOMAD POP
Formed in 2019, NOMAD POP is a rock band that humorously embraces loneliness and anxiety through vivid, colorful sounds. The band name blends the word nomad, meaning a wanderer, with pop music, reflecting their desire to live as if dancing through a constantly changing world. In December 2019, their first EP release two-man live show sold out. The lead track 45 no Sekai was aired on J-WAVE's SPARK, hosted by Yoshiki Mizuno of Ikimono Gakari. Since then, they've been featured on various playlists on Spotify and Apple Music. In 2022, Koichi Tsutaya introduced their song WA ni natte Odore Nai on the MUSIC FUN! Podcast, and their solo live show at TOKIO TOKYO also sold out. Their first full album, I was born, is scheduled for release in March 2025.
