Full-scale restart -
Minori Chihara returns with her first new song in four years, "Message."
"I don't want to be disliked.
I keep comparing myself to others.
I pretend I've given up.
I want to run away.
I want to disappear.
I want to be alone.
For those burdened by such feelings, I am simply by your side."
Why do I sing, and for whom? Within her struggles, she found an answer and expressed it in a stirring piece woven through poetry reading.
Surpassing the bounds of a singer and stepping onto a new stage as an artist, Minori Chihara's musical identity is here, now, redefined.
Minori Chihara is active as a voice actress and a recording artist. She has voiced characters in numerous anime series, including Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Miku Izayoi in Date A Live, and Camie Utsushimi in My Hero Academia. As a musical artist, she has performed many anime theme songs. She also writes her own lyrics, such as "Michishirube" and "Amy" for the Violet Evergarden series. In 2026, her new song "No tears here" was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime Magical Girl Raising Project restart. On August 1st, she will hold a concert titled "Minori Chihara - New me," at the Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater.
