ずいぶん歳をとった私
感じまいと頑なな心は
いつも突然動き出す
するとあたりは海に
私はくじらに姿を変える
他人の瘡蓋に手を伸ばす人ほど
水の中には入れない
無数の針を慌てて投げ入れ
どれかに当たれとほくそ笑む
淀んだ海をくじらが泳ぐ
名前を知らない誰かが汚した
尾びれをどんなに使っても
決して綺麗にならないから
目を閉じ静かに泳ぎ続ける
涙を海に溶かしながら
優しい嘘と偽って
強い言葉で溢れた世界
自分を愛でる臆病者は
架空の弱者を作り出す
水面には映らない
元に戻らない醜い顔さえ
淀んだ海をくじらが泳ぐ
理由もないのに誰かが汚した
小さくなった後ろ足じゃ
決して速くは泳げないから
唇噛み締め泳ぎ続ける
消えない過去に戸惑いながら
泣きたくなるのは何故ですか
胸が痛むのは何故ですか
癒えない傷を知っていますか
それでも忘れろと言えますか
痛みを知って他人を見つめ
他人を知って自分を見つめた
過去と向き合い喚き散らして
自分の弱さに落胆した
弱い私に仲間の声が響く
もう間違えたりなんてしない
笑いたければ笑えばいい
傷つけたければ傷つければいい
私は負けない屈しない誰にも
仲間の歌が聴こえる
信じて進むだけ

Now, I have the privilege of telling stories.
There are words I long to share.
There are feelings I have carried with me.
**Otogibanashi: Songs for the Child Within** is Akane's second album, inspired by the timeless world of fairy tales.
