Genbu
Debuted as a Vocaloid producer in 2019 with Crim Boy. In the early days, their work centered on band style tracks with an alternative rock sound, led by Hatsune Miku. Later, with the release of their second album Mariana, they began incorporating electronic music elements such as synthesizers and sampled sounds, expanding the scope of their musical expression. While their current core lies in playful, melodic arrangements that almost tumble forward with charm, their lyrics confront the frustrations of modern society and the struggles of youth without glossing over them. At times sharp, at times cynical.But always sincere in their intent to communicate. Maintaining that sense of imbalance, they continue to put forth music that challenges and speaks directly to the listener.
