Trilingual Rapper LISA YOSHITOMI to Release 3rd Single "LOVE" on July 19 - Fully Self-Produced Work Set in Her Hometown of Iki Island

Rising trilingual rapper LISA YOSHITOMI is set to release her highly anticipated third single, "LOVE," on July 19. This self-produced work reflects her deep commitment and personal touch, with LISA not only writing and composing the song, but also creating the storyboard and overseeing the production of the music video.

The setting for this heartfelt project is Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, where LISA spent her childhood. Both the songwriting and video production took place on the island. Shot entirely on location, the music video features local residents including students from her former elementary school, fishermen, sake brewers, and traditional craft artisans-showcasing the warmth and strong bonds of the Iki community.

Through music and visuals, "LOVE" expresses LISA YOSHITOMI's deep respect and gratitude for her hometown.

  • LISA YOSHITOMI

    A Tokyo-based singer-songwriter with roots in Iki, Japan. A trilingual artist fluent in Japanese, English, and French. At 19, she moved to France to study fashion design in Paris. In 2024, she began writing and composing music from her home, gradually releasing her work on platforms such as SoundCloud. Having traveled to over 40 cities worldwide including across Europe, as well as Dubai and Hong Kong she draws inspiration from diverse cultures. In addition to English language music, she actively explores non English music scenes, including Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, and Russian. While discovering the potential of music to transcend language barriers, she continues to create genre defying work that resists being confined to any single category. In 2025, she began training in the Komparu school of Noh theater.
