AKITO MATSUMOTO (KENKO / formerly of shinku-horou) presents new digital EP, "Re:GRET VOYAGER".
Released ahead of his upcoming band-set one-man tour of the same name, the EP features two tracks, Re:GRET and VOYAGER both inspired by and named after the tour title.
The recording features tour support members Atsushi Kameyama (Bass) and Hiroki Yoshioka (Drums), alongside Takeru Yamazaki (Piano) and Tenta Goto (Saxophone), who appears exclusively on VOYAGER.
In pursuit of an authentic live feel, the three-piece rhythm section was recorded simultaneously, just as it would be performed on stage. Vocals were also captured in a single uninterrupted take, without doubling or backing harmonies, and were used without any editing or pitch correction.
The result is a pair of powerful tracks that capture the raw energy, tension, and immediacy of a live performance.

AKITO MATSUMOTO - Musician. Launched the band [SHINKU-HOROU] in 2006, serving as its frontman. Announced the band's disbandment, departure from their agency, and own independence at the end of 2022. Re-launched as a solo artist from March 2023. Alongside solo work, he serves as vocalist and main composer for the unit [KENKO] with Yusuke (lynch.). Also active as a lyricist, composer, arranger, providing artist support on backing vocals and guitar, composing film scores, and singing as a character singer for video games.
