From eternal Muses… from the gates of Heaven…

In his refined… and exquisite way…

The poet… with a style all his own…

Drifts away… from the subtle spheres above…

And in the hour… of a fleeting eclipse…

The Mountain Spirit… will leave him behind…

And the Lyre… with its ringing revelation…

Will not appease… the capricious ear!

Ah… this poet…

Brings trouble and sin —

He will carry you… into his secret depths…

And you won’t remember… where laughter has been…

And plunging… into passion, without restraint…

Fully humanized… in his own way…

He will soar… into the world of vice…

Acknowledging… that truth lies in wine…

A rogue… a trickster… a seducer…

From such a man… no one asks for much…

Do you not wish… to drink with the poet?!

In his eyes… there is only one question…

Ah, this poet…

He’s like smoke…

He will dissolve both words and light…
