Mount Hiei Eternal Silence of Enryaku ji is a deep ambient album inspired by
Mount Hiei and Enryaku ji, the spiritual origin of Japanese Tendai Buddhism.
This work reflects ascetic practices such as Kaihogyo, silent walking meditation,
mist covered cedar forests, night time discipline, and the eternal flame burning
for over a thousand years at Konpon Chudo.
The music contains no rhythm, no melody, and no words.
Slowly evolving drones, subtle harmonic overtones, distant bell resonances,
and intentional silence form a soundscape of prayer, endurance, and inner stillness.
Designed for meditation, contemplation, deep focus, and nighttime listening,
this album invites the listener into a timeless sacred mountain
where faith, nature, and silence quietly converge.

Demmiy is an artist based in Kawasaki Japan creating music that bridges the modern and the traditional After years of band experience he began his solo journey composing arranging performing and mixing all of his works himself His sound blends raw grunge influenced guitars with ethereal atmospheres and traditional Japanese instruments such as the koto and shakuhachi With releases like Miosuji Yomi no Kuni Nehan no Higashi Hokusai Frozen Silence and 0°North Demmiy paints cinematic soundscapes that bring quiet healing to the listeners heart
