    Haruno is a next-generation singer-songwriter and producer who first gained attention online, showcasing his multifaceted talent by handling everything from lyrics and composition to trackmaking himself. He has released original music independently through streaming services and YouTube, steadily attracting attention. His 2020 EP IS SHE ANYBODY? reached No. 1 on the iTunes and Apple Music R&B charts. Influenced by jazz and hip-hop, Haruno's sound is defined by smooth, groovy tracks that cross over between lo-fi hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary pop. His silky, enveloping voice and emotionally resonant lyrics have also drawn widespread attention, earning him a rapidly growing fanbase. In 2023, he released his first album, The Lover, followed by solo shows in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as his first overseas live performance in Taiwan. Building on this momentum, he successfully completed a four-city tour in China in March 2024, and the following month was selected as the opening act for UK electro-pop duo HONNE's China shows. In July of the same year, he held a three-city solo tour in Japan, with each venue met with great enthusiasm. In August 2025, Haruno successfully completed his second domestic tour, further establishing himself as an artist attracting attention not only in Japan but from various scenes around the world.
