歌・作詞・作曲・編曲を全て自ら手掛ける岡山県出身のシンガーソングライター。

YouTubeにアップしたオリジナル曲やカバー曲がSNSや口コミで「泣ける」「感動する」と話題になり、その名が広まる。

2013年5月にリリースした1stアルバム「Destiny」はAmazon MP3 ダウンロードランキング R&Bチャートで２位を獲得。

2013年12月にリリースした2ndアルバム「Tears」はAmazon MP3 ダウンロードランキング R&Bチャートで１位、iTunesでは３９位を獲得した。

2014年7月1日にリリースした3rd Digital Album「Everything」はiTunes R&B ランキングで４３位を獲得した。

2015年1月5日、これまでの集大成となるベストデジタルアルバム「The Best 〜No Music No Life〜」をリリースし、iTunes R&B ランキングで６３位を獲得した。

企業やお店にCMソングを提供したり、アーティストへ楽曲提供、作詞提供、作曲提供、編曲提供をしたりと、シンガーソングライターとしてだけでなくコンポーザー、アレンジャーとしても積極的に活動している。

オリジナル曲にラブソングが多いことからこれまでに結婚式での歌唱依頼を度々受け、歌唱している。

2015年1月〜3月、オリジナルソング「流れ星」が西日本放送の「News Every（ニュースエブリー）」のエンディングテーマとして起用される。

    [Kota Kotera's music career] (2013) I released the first album "Destiny" on May 21st. I have released 2nd album "Tears" on December 20th. (2014) I released the third album "Everything" on July 1st. (2015) I released the best album "The Best ~ No Music No Life ~" on January 5th. In the period from January to March, the original crush song "Shooting star" flowed as the ending theme of West Japan Broadcasting "News Every (News Every)." I released a cover album "Piano R & B Covers 1" on April 16th. I released the 4th album "There are lots of things in life" on August 8, so I released it. (2016) I released 1st collaboration single "CRAZY LOVE" (with RYO - HEY) on April 7th. I released the 5th album "My Pace" on May 7th. I released 2nd collaboration single "Missing U" (with RYO - HEY) in November. (2017) I released a 6th album "The man who woke up to EDM will not forget the ballad soul" on July 26. (2018) I released the 7th album "Life" on June 10. There are various circumstances about the history of music provision and it can not be announced.
