Artist Profile
Mei Momomori
Born in Miyazaki Prefecture. Singer-songwriter. Started her music career under the name "Mei" after being helped by music when she was a student. She performs live on the street almost every day and won the grand prix in the RKK Radio Festival "Played Word List Contest" in 2012. After graduating from Kumamoto University, she moved her base of activities to Tokyo. In 2017, he changed the name of his activity to "Momomori Mei". He started a one-chorus music video project called "One song, one picture," in which he moves his own illustrations along with his songs, which led to the spread of his songs to many people. His representative works include "What to do when you are tired" and "Centaur Songs. "In 2019, he performed his illustrations and songs on the music talk show "music monster" and at the comedy duo Kitsune's solo live show "Hai Kara Hyakusu. He later underwent surgery for a vocal nodule, which temporarily prevented him from performing, but he has now recovered and is resuming his activities.
