The end-of-summer new release from musician Hyori Takahashi, vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Owarikara and an artist involved in a wide range of creative activities, is a long-standing signature song from his solo repertoire that has never before been officially recorded.
A pop song filled with his distinctive perspective, it asks what SAIWAI(happiness or good fortune)truly means.
The track was created with fellow Owarikara member Taku Kameda, who also works as a support keyboardist for milet, and Keisuke Okamoto, who has performed as a support drummer for artists including KinKi Kids (now DOMOTO), LiSA, and PUFFY. Their simple, groove-filled sound provides the perfect backdrop for the striking harmonies of the two members of folk duo Mitsu.
