Born in 1972 and currently resides in Kumamoto City. After recording in New York, she made her major label debut in 2003. A singer-songwriter who loves traveling, surfing, and snowboarding, she continues to transmit "LOVE & FREEDOM" through her organic sound. With her energetic stage performances, which are her signature, she has performed not only at solo shows but also at various live festivals, both large and small, including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, ap bank fes, wind blow, GREENROOM FESTIVAL, Sunset Live, and Fat Festival (Thailand). He has performed at various live festivals, both large and small, creating a peaceful atmosphere. In 2020, he released his 15th album "LIGHT". In 2021, he will start a new activity as a member of "Storks," a unit of track makers focusing on instrumental music, and is attracting a lot of attention. In addition to his solo music activities, he also writes for magazines and does a wide range of other lifework. After the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident, he quickly turned to self-sufficiency in energy and food, and has been practicing an off-grid lifestyle for more than 10 years. All music production in his home studio is powered by his own solar-generated electricity. He is the representative of "change the world," a project he is developing with shoe brand KEEN, and actively engages in social work, such as delivering seasonal vegetables, fruits, and grains from Kyushu to children at Yotsuba Nursery School in Minamisoma, Fukushima Prefecture, while practicing self-sufficiency in natural farming and energy. He continues his activities based in Kumamoto, where he was born and raised.
