"Pilot Syndrome" is the second EP from Hiroshima-born player xion.

While his previous work expressed "ideals" through a multiverse worldview, this new work, like "Flow" and "Unicorn," expresses "reality" through introspection, centered around inspiration from the anime series "Gundam."

Other tracks on the album include mellow tracks like "ZZ," featuring fellow Hiroshima rapper Frau, and fresh yet aggressive tracks like "ray," whose music video was posted on YouTube after the album's release.

These tracks offer a glimpse of the growth and potential of xion's expressive range from his previous album to this one. To use the words of this work, it makes you feel like xion has begun his evolution as a "Newtype."
