The three-member DTM unit iLLu, consisting of a singer-songwriter, a Vocaloid producer, and a band musician, has released their latest single, "Pluck." Celebrating their first anniversary in December 2025, the group turns its focus to the timeless theme of love in this new track.
Built on a foundation of fast-paced guitar rock, the song vividly expresses the complexities of love through the delicate yet powerful vocals of Tsukihi. The addition of guitarist Shohei Kaneko brings a dynamic edge, with distorted and bold guitar sounds enhancing the meticulous yet daring arrangement that defines iLLu's unique style. Tsukihi's one-of-a-kind voice, carrying both gentleness and sharp intensity, cuts straight to the heart.
This track pushes beyond conventional boundaries, marking the arrival of a cutting-edge pop-rock sound that is set to redefine the genre.
The iLLu are a Japanese DTM group formed in Tokyo in December 2023, comprising vocalist Tsukihi, composer zarame, and produser Arai.
