Released on March 31, 2024, *AUN DINOSAUR*, the sixth album by Hikari no Senshi Nachos, is a strangely fascinating work that feels freer, looser, and yet somehow more deeply essential than ever before.

Although the album contains 22 tracks, each song is extremely compact, running only around one to two minutes long. Yet within those short pieces are tightly packed layers of humor, discomfort, kindness, everyday life, philosophy, food, and Nachos uniquely personal perspective.

Beginning with the title track AUN DINOSAUR, the album unfolds like a walk through someones thoughts. Titles such as YUUHI WA SUNSET, MORNING COFFEE, and DOCCHI DEMO IIWA may initially sound playful and carefree, but underneath them lies a quiet strength a way of not overthinking life, and an ability to find amusement and meaning in ordinary moments.

The album also features many songs centered around food, including NATTOU,BIRIYANI,CHAI,and DOSA DO SA. These tracks naturally blend together the cultures and atmospheres Nachos encountered while traveling between Japan and India. His experiences in India are especially present throughout the work, and songs like MERA NAM KYA HAI carry a lightness that gently crosses borders, languages, and identities.

At the same time, songs such as IERU UCHINI and YUKKURI SAKASETE reveal tenderness and sincerity toward life and human relationships. It may sound silly on the surface, but underneath there is genuine seriousness. It may appear casual, yet it is crafted with great care. That unique balance is what flows throughout the entire album and defines Nachos Miyaharas style.

Unafraid of genres or conventions, Nachos continues to follow his instinct of turning whatever he feels in the moment directly into sound. These short songs feel almost like fragments of a diary, quietly slipping into the listeners everyday life.

*AUN DINOSAUR* is an album that can make you laugh while listening, yet somehow leaves you loving life just a little bit more by the end.
It is a work that carries a truly mysterious warmth.
