riseAbove: Gt/Vo Kenny Ba/Vo Mitsuo Dr Zacky "grunge is still alive." Based in Tokyo, Japan. Started in 2011. Musically we are infruenced by all the seattle grunge bands from 1990s, stoner, numetal, trance, triphop, alternative music. -We will rise above everything. riseAbove was started in 2011, named after the terrible earthquake in Tohoku, Japan. While volunteering in the stricken area, seeing many people were trying to live through their tragedy after the terrible earthquake and Tsunami happened. We all have to rise above no matter how hard they will be. We all have to be strong enough to live.-
