並の人間なら、もうマイクは握っていなかっただろう。食べるため、家庭のために当たり前のように仕事を持ち、たまに行く飲み会でバンド時代に培った美声を響かせる……そんな夢破れたミュージシャンの一人になっていても全く不思議ではないキャリアを歩んできた。
平内ももちろん、音楽だけで飯を食ってきたわけではない。だが彼は、側から見れば十分に立派で多忙な仕事に邁進し、そこで出会う人たちに影響を受けるなかで、自らの音楽の変化にもじっと耳を澄ませてきた。さまざまな経験をもとに深みを増した声と、もう単純にロックとは呼べなくなった胸の内の炎で、いまどんな音楽が紡げるのか？
その答えがこの４曲に集約されている。
長く活動したバンドを解散してもなお、自らの声と向き合い続けてきた平内正人。
人生にどうしても音楽が必要だった男は、私たちの生き様を強く優しく肯定しながら、他の誰のためでもない、自身への応援歌を真っ直ぐに歌い続けている。

    After seven years since the breakup of his previous band, he released a solo album on December 10, 2022. In his twenties, he felt lost, unable to become "someone" through music and questioning his own worth. In his thirties, he chose to step back from music and focus on creating a more stable environment for himself. He wants to sing songs that resonate with those who, even if their lives do not match the scenes they once dreamed of, are living wholeheartedly in the present. With a strong yet gentle acceptance of all ways of life, he continues to sing straightforwardly, offering a song of encouragement not for anyone else but as an anthem to himself.
