2019年6月にCDリリースされたtorchの1st epを今回リマスターし初配信。
2024年リマスターver.
レコーディングは福岡市のアンノウンスタジオにて1日で行われた。
それまでtorchの音源は2009年に発表した2枚のデモCD-R「NIGHT CITY」「LEMON」以来10年ぶりである。
上記の2枚は結成初期にライブハウスに機材を持ち込みレコーディングされた。ライブの感触に近い熱を帯びたサウンドになっている。
今回のファーストシングは
初のレコーディングスタジオにてエンジニアに山中氏(mizunoiro)を迎えて行われた。
音像はモアラウドにヘヴィさが増している。
曲の特徴を音のレンジを広げて上手くコンパイルされている。
肉感的なダイナミズムと躍動に溢れたグルーヴはそのままに鋭利な轟音を堪能できる。

torch
torch 2008: torch was formed after receiving an offer to perform at a live event from an acquaintance. Their first live performance was at Decadent Deluxe on OYAFUKO Street in Fukuoka. They were a three-piece band consisting of ikubo (vocals & guitar), Sugio (guitar), and Tsukikawa (drums). Shibata (bass) joined them from the next live performance. Performed at live houses based in Fukuoka October 2009: Two demo CD-Rs released at the same time: "NIGHT CITY" and "LEMON" Tsukikawa (drums) took a break from music for a while, but continued to perform live with drum support from Taku (vovodelic), Ogawa (Mizunoiro), and Miwako (SACOYANS.miumau). Tsukikawa (drums) returns to activities around 2016 June 2019: First EP "The First Thing" released September 2024: First album "TENDERLY TENDERNESS" released
