The sound of "Suitcase" does not have the brightness of a typical Rhodes piano, and it feels more like a Wurlitzer. This "suitcase" sound creates a unique atmosphere for this song. Most chorus parts are composed of three voices, and depending on the return part, there may be five voices. The chorus adds depth to the song's mellow melody. The bass line of this song makes the song have a strong presence, making it feel like a small band.
