• Thirteen13

  Born in New York, raised in Tokyo, half German and half Japanese. She majored in art history in Columbia University. During her stay in the US, she also worked for Opening Ceremony New York and Dover Street Market New York as a sales assistant and visual merchandiser, before returning to Japan following her graduation. After returning to Tokyo, she worked as an editor for "commons&sense magazine"while modelling on the side. She joined the i-D Japan team for its launch, as well as working on the editing team for Libertin DUNE Magazine simultaneously. In 2017, she started working for herself as a freelance stylist, writer, and editor including clients such as Numero Tokyo, pop girl group Sudannayuzuyully, and actress Fumi Nikaido. In March 2018, she founded an independent magazine / creative team by the name of PETRICHOR, which served as her first outlet to showcase her own vision with no client involved. She was approached from multiple producers in the hip hop scene in Japan following the launch of her magazine, which led her to start writing to music. At the end of 2018, she debuted her first EP OMNIPRESENT under the name Thirteen13 ( read Thirteen).
