    奈良出身。東京大学文学部（美学芸術学専攻）卒業後、バーゼル・ スコラ・カントルムに留学し、リュートをはじめとする撥弦楽器の演奏法と解釈をホプキンソン・ スミス氏に師事。合わせてヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバをランダル・クック氏に、通奏低音理論をイェスパー・クリステンセン氏に師事し、同校を2013年に修了。 同年ラクィラ（イタリア） での国際古楽コンクールのソロ部門にて第１位及び聴衆賞、2017年国際H.I.F. ビーバー古楽コンクールにてアンサンブル部門最高位。多彩なアンサンブルに所属し、 各国の著名な古楽祭に出演する他、ソリストとしても活動を行い、フランス・ドイツ・ イギリス・オーストリア・オランダの各リュート協会より招聘を受けている。 録音も自身のソロCD「Travels with my Lute」「Polyphony & Diminution」を含め、数多い
