"Ashita wa Yawarakai (Tomorrow Is Gentle)" was born from a day when I couldn't bring myself to say "hang in there." Even after a night when nothing seemed to go right, there are moments when you breathe in the morning air and feel just a little lighter. I wanted to hold onto that "just a little" feeling and turn it into a song.
Rather than singing about big miracles or strong, dramatic hope, I want to sing about the warmth of simply being beside someone. You don't have to change. You don't have to rush. It's okay to move at your own pace. Just breathing as you are right now is already enough - that's what I wanted to share.
If this song can feel like it's quietly sitting next to you, without loudly declaring "everything will be okay," that would mean so much to me. I hope that after listening, tomorrow feels even slightly kinder to you.
