Tsutomu
Tsutomu is a singer-songwriter from Saga, Japan. With a powerful yet transparent voice and a percussive guitar style, he creates acoustic-based songs that connect deeply with listeners. After moving to Tokyo in 2008 and working as part of a unit, he began his solo career in 2011. Since then, he has performed on a wide range of stages, including resort hotels, cafés, outdoor festivals, and concert halls, expanding his audience through catchy melodies and emotionally direct performances. His 3rd album Hobutsusen, released in 2025, reached No. 6 on the LINE MUSIC real-time chart and No. 49 on the daily chart. Across streaming platforms, the album surpassed 1 million total streams within six months of release. His music has also gained traction on TikTok, where user-generated videos have helped broaden its reach. Currently, Tsutomu handles songwriting, composition, arrangement, video production, and social media strategy himself, developing his career as a fully self-produced artist.
